Vendor needs to provide succession planning consultant services to the government authority located in Columbus, OH.
- Review current staffing levels and position hiring process.
- Evaluate strategic plan and examine current staffing levels
- Assess the current organizational readiness, polices and processes related to business continuity upon staffing transitions or departures
- Research trends regarding an aging workforce and recommend best practices
- Create a formalized succession plan that will assist management in adopting a consistent succession process for their areas. This plan should include knowledge transfer strategies for position responsibilities and departmental processes.
- Develop and implement planning tools for Human Resources and department management to assess staffing levels, monitor changes and forecast needs for critical positions within each department.
- Train BWC leaders charged with succession planning on the concepts and best practices.
- Provide support to BWC leaders in the development of divisional succession plans.
- Develop recruitment and retention strategies to attract future leaders from outside the organization.
