[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide medical consultant services includes the following to the government authority located in Columbus, OH.
- Medical consultant shall refer a disability case to the agency vendor administering the disability review and recommendation program and the disability rehabilitative services program
- Determines that insufficient medical evidence exists in a case file to make a recommendation to the agency board regarding whether a disability benefit applicant qualifies to receive a disability benefit or whether a disability benefit recipient continues to be eligible to receive a disability benefit
- Case file to determine whether an additional medical examination should be conducted, and the medical consultant determines that an additional medical examination is warranted
- Disability benefit recipient currently receiving medical treatment recommended by an agency medical consultant to determine whether continued medical treatment can be waived on the basis that the treatment is no longer helpful or advisable, or if the treatment is appropriate based upon the disabling condition
- Provide quality assurance review of the work product of agency disability benefits processing vendor, the quality assurance review shall include verifying that the agency disability benefits review vendor has followed the established procedures for such reviews, including verifying identifying information, appropriate recommendations regarding disability cases have been provided using the appropriate standards of review, and independent medical reviews of disability cases as may be necessary.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
