Government Authority located Ohio; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for Toll Collection System.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide Toll Collection System to acquire a new Toll Collection System (TCS) and on-going TCS maintenance services.
• Acquire a new TCS that is non-proprietary to the extent possible, is scalable and expandable, is based on an open and decoupled architecture, accommodates gateless tolling in both low speed entry lanes and ORT toll lanes as well as gated tolling in conventional exit lanes.
• Improve existing functionality by providing new multiprotocol readers, a new Maintenance Management System (MMS), a new DVAS and a new Traffic Counting System.
• Incorporate an optional subsystem for Weigh-in-Motion monitoring and enforcement at six (6) locations in each direction along the mainline that interfaces with the web-based Overweight / Over Dimensional Permit System, LCV Permit System/Program, Communications Center.
• Provide for decommissioning, removal and disposal of existing infrastructure that
will not be used in the new TCS in accordance with OTIC’s rules described in
• Obtain TCS maintenance services.
• Establish standardized open Application Program Interface, such as the interfaces to the CSC, bank, credit card processor and general ledger, which are sustainable and adaptable to changes in business rules.
• Utilize asynchronous queue messaging techniques to facilitate communications between all systems and applications.
• Utilize National Transportation Communications for Intelligent Transportation System Protocol standards where applicable when designing the TCS and supporting systems architecture, communications systems and interfaces.
(2) All Questions must be submitted no later than November 12, 2019.
(3) A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on October 22, 2019.
(4) A contract period will be for five years.

- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
