Government authority located in Columbus, Ohio; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for public relations counsel services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide public relations counsel services to the government authority located in Columbus, OH.
- Public Relations: Provide ongoing counsel on message development and delivery for key audiences including COTA customers and potential new customers; COTA Board of Directors; elected and appointed officials with the State of Ohio, Franklin County and the City of Columbus; not-for-profit leaders; the business community; neighbourhood and civic opinion leaders; partner organizations; union leadership and represented employees; and news media.
- Internal Communication: Support COTA internal communication with counsel on strategy and effective methods of delivery; as needed, audit internal communication channels and make recommendations for new channels that support organization strategic guiding principle to create organizational excellence and to foster a strong internal culture.
- Message Development: Draft messages to key internal and external audiences as needed; Create “stock” talking points for COTA Management/Leadership team around COTA strategic plan and community initiatives; Support COTA’s Speakers Bureau with effective messaging.
- Media Relations: Counsel COTA Corporate Communication team on strategic media relations, and provide draft news releases, op-ed, letter to the editor and other media outreach materials as needed.
- Community Relations: Counsel COTA on community relations matters, including building COTA’s reputation in the community; Suggest opportunities for COTA to engage with key community leaders, either through independent meetings or through presence at key community events.
- Annual Luncheon: Serve as key counsel for the development, planning and execution of COTA’s Annual Luncheon, including drafting run-of-show, speeches, and other elements to ensure success.
- Meeting: Attend COTA weekly Corporate Communication and Government Affairs Division meeting.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than November 12, 2019.
(3) Contract period will be for one year.

- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
