[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide cyber-security and cybercrimes training services for to design, develop, and conduct a law enforcement focused cyber-security and cybercrimes training provide one class for each of the eight homeland security regions to the government authority located in Columbus, OH.
- Services-Office of information technology and the cyber security center, the objectives of this course are to increase awareness of the first responder’s role in cybersecurity and address the growing number of cybercrime incidents,
- The course will be comprised of a variety of learning activities, such as, lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and practical exercises to ensure a comprehensive overview of cybersecurity and cybercrime,
- This training will provide with the opportunity for improvement on cybersecurity prevention,
protection, and response to cybercrimes per the state of THIRA, stakeholder preparedness
review, and the grant funding from FEMA,
- Emergency management agency, will set up registration through the public safety training Campus, generate certificates of completion, and provide sign-in sheets at each training location,
- The objectives for the course is to increase awareness of law enforcement’s role in cybersecurity in
order to address possible cybercrime incidents. after completing the course, participants must be able to:
- Document required information about a cybercrime,
- Apply basic cyber security concepts,
- Identify appropriate stakeholders to contact following a cybercrime,
- Understand the laws regarding search and seizure of electronic devices,
- Understand how to collect evidence following a cybercrime.
(2) A pre-proposal conference will be held on February 4,2020.
(3) All question must be submitted no later than February 10,2020.
