[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide interactive on-line school mental health assistance tools.
- One of these two web-based products has several features including (a) video tutorials, (b) surveys that are completed by users that produce scored reports detailing the student’s risk for emotional and behavioral problems (c) algorithms that inform users of the student’s suitability for intervention, (d) interactive “wizards” that guide users through several decisions and help users develop an individualized behavioral contract for each student, (e) mobile-friendly data entry portals, (f) calendars for historical data entry, (g) interactive graphs that display student progress over time (h), algorithm-based recommendations that help users make data-driven decisions about the timing and nature of the intervention modification, and (i) surveys that are completed at regular intervals by a variety of school professionals for monitoring student response to intervention over time. All of the above information, including website use analytics (number of visits per user; duration of visits per user), are compiled into a database from which data reports are generated, some for school audiences and others for the investigators.
- The work involves writing programming for both web-based products and meeting with the investigators regularly (1-2 times per month) to add new functionality and to continue to evolve and evaluate the products until they are ready for use in schools. Developers will be required to work with investigators to optimize the user interface so the system can be navigated efficiently by inexperienced users.
