[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide train the trainers and certification on implicit bias includes the following to the government authority located in Cincinnati, OH.
- These biases, both favourable and unfavourable, are activated involuntarily and without an individual’s awareness or intentional control, affect actions and decisions in an unconscious manner and can cause institutions or individuals to act on prejudices, despite good intentions and non-discriminatory policies
- Reducing the influence of implicit bias is vitally important to strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve
- Understand the difference between explicit and implicit biases
- Understand how and why implicit bias and microaggressions exists and how they manifest in the workplace
- How to test for and identify biases
- How to help participants understand and override their bias, identify strategies that can reduce the negative influence of and develop an increased awareness on how to actively eliminate bias while making decisions
- How to recognize the negative impact that bias has on a police organization, community- police relations and an individual’s perceptions of police legitimacy and procedural justice
- Develop an understanding of various learning styles and their implications for training
- How to develop a systematic approach to training
- How to talk about diversity, equity, inclusion and historical trauma
- Use different equality, diversity and inclusion models
- How to manage resistance in the training room
- Engages community leaders as training partners
- Uses a range of approaches and techniques
- How to create an open and safe environment
- How to lead, engage and manage conversations that can often be awkward and uncomfortable
- How to allow for and encourage ongoing dialogue and insight that contributes to a positive process.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than April 26, 2019.
(3) The term of the contract shall be one year.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
