Government Authority located in Ohio; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for inventory forecasting system.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide inventory forecasting system to do inventory forecasting/order suggesting and then sends data back to its financial system.
Integration
o Must integrate into GP. Prefer to use the current flat files that are being used now to send data to. and from GP into the inventory forecasting system. OPS is open to looking at other integrations options as needed.
o Must be able to refresh the inventory forecasting system from GP at least 4 times a day.
o Must be able to send PO info back to GP as order is placed in the inventory forecasting system as close to real time
as possible.
• Usability and Forecasting
o the ability to demand forecast with at least 2 years of data
o Create a forecast based on:
• Historical demand
• Trends
• Seasonality
o the ability to build a forecast for a new item based on an old item
o Exception signals (alerting of situations that are outside of the plan)
o Ability to procure by Primary Vendor, but able to switch to secondary vendor
o Able to show last 12 & 6-months sales at time of order without having to go to another screen
o Ability to adjust the date to purchase if going on vacation for example
o Able see the vendors part number at time of creating order without having to go to another screen
o Adjust quantity ordered and price
o Ability to list by needed items or all items.
o Add items to buy that are not in the list
• Prefer a cloud based or remotely hosted solution
o Data must reside/stored on servers located in the USA only
[C] Eligibility:
Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
